Lingfield Primary School Association

Earlier in the year (2009) a group of Key Stage 1 parents and most of the KS1 staff (and others) spent a Saturday tidying, painting and doing general DIY around that area of the school. The transformation was great - the time spent by everyone was much appreciated. The LPSA funded the materials that needed to be purchased and the volunteers did the work.

We put up boards to pin things on, nest boxes for birds, bees and ladybirds, painted, planted, moved, tidied and built! Many parents will appreciate, during the winter months especially, the new path put in over the grass in front of 1S/1K/2I - less mud on shoes from now on hopefully!

Reports suggest that the children were suitably impressed on their return to school on the Monday morning. Thanks to all involved.
